Designed by Pininfarina, the Lancia Flaminia sedan made its debut at the Turin Motor Show in 1956 and embodied the idea of an Italian luxury car.

The Flaminia was the successor to the Aurelia, but the monocoque construction was different and the traditional telescopic front suspension was replaced by a double wishbone with more modern coil springs.

Two years later, still at the Turin Motor Show, Lancia and Touring presented a GT version of the Flaminia.

Built on a wheelbase reduced from 2,870 to 2,520 cm, it is a Touring Superleggera designed car with a thin steel tube frame clad in aluminum.

The design is elegant and the interior bright thanks to a large rear window.

The instrumentation is identical to that of the sedan, but the steering wheel differs, with a three-spoke design...
