The Alfa Romeo "Giulia GT" is the coupé version of the famous Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan.

Also known as the Giulia Sprint GT - the term Sprint being used by Alfa Romeo to designate coupé versions - production began in 1963.

It became the first model to be assembled at the new Arese plant.

Its bodywork was designed by a promising young designer, Giorgetto Giugiaro, then employed by Bertone, whose elegant, well-balanced design was to make a major contribution to the model's posterity.

Based on a Giulia platform shortened by 16 cm, the wheelbase was reduced from 251 to 235 cm, reinforcing the car's dynamic character.
This example, a 1600 GT, left the factory on August 4, 1972.

It remained in Italy until at least 1980, before being documented again in 2019.

In 2021, it was acquired by its current owner, an automotive professional.
