But there are certain cars that quietly define an era, not through outright performance alone, but through presence, design, and cultural significance.

The Rover SD1 Vanden Plas EFI is one such car and we are thrilled to be offering this 1984 example on the platform, finished here in understated silver and showing just 69,000 miles from new and having undergone a recent recommissioning.

Penned during a time when British Leyland dared to think globally, the SD1’s design famously drew inspiration from the Ferrari Daytona, most notably in its sweeping fastback and low front end profile.

Equally at home as a high-speed motorway patrol car or as transport for those operating on the less lawful side of society, the SD1 carries with it a certain cinematic charm, a reminder of an era when British saloons had genuine character.
