With us at RFH Classics we are delighted to bring to the market for the first time in 51 years this 1967 (F) Aston Martin DB6 MK1 Automatic, a car that comes with a remarkable history including long term ownership by the same gentleman.

First registered on 21 September 1967, this DB6 left the famous Newport Pagnell works finished in Mink and came equipped with its 4.0-litre straight-six engine and Borg-Warner auto gearbox.

With a new price approaching £5,000 it is perhaps difficult to appreciate today just how exclusive car was when new.

To put it in comparison, at a time the average British house cost little more than £4,000.

In May 1980 the previous owner took possession of the car and went on to own the car for the remainder of his life, a period spanning more than half a century.

It was during this time that in 1989 it was subsequently refinished in the now Dubonnet Rosso.
