After the Second World War, the doyenne brand of the French automobile industry wanted to renew itself.
Designed by engineer Jean Albert Grégoire, the Dyna X was presented at the 1946 Paris Motor Show.
Wishing to promote the use of aluminum in automobile bodywork, Grégoire made the Dyna X the first mass-produced car with an all-aluminum body.
Drawn by designer Louis Bionier, this Dyna X stood out from other models thanks to its intricately curved aesthetics, quickly giving it the unofficial designation of Dyna X Louis XV for its complex styling.
Although presented in 1946, production only began at the end of 1947, with bodywork production entrusted to Facel Metallon in Colombes.
On the production Dyna, the headlamps were streamlined and better integrated into the bodywork.
The 1950 models were embellished with several polished aluminum trim strips on the body and a new radiator grille...
