After the war, Panhard started to produce simple, robust and efficient cars.

After the Dyna X and its derivatives, the Z was born.

But the Quai d’Ivry firm had not forgotten the off-spec bodywork that contributed to its reputation.

The only difference with the old days was that, like many of its competitors, it subcontracted the production of these luxury and tasteful models to specialized bodywork specialists.

At the same time, the Belgian car industry, flourishing but discreet before the war,was content after the Liberation to assemble the models of other foreign brands.

Thus, in the autumn of 1953, Panhard entrusted the assembly of the Dyna 54 and the Dyna Junior to the d’Ieteren body shop. d’Ieteren also presented at the Brussels Motor Show of 1954, a revisited Junior, which was to be produced in about sixty copies.
