1972 TRIUMPH GT6 MK III
The Triumph GT6 MkIII, produced between 1970 and 1973, is the final and most refined version of what was known as the 'Poor Man's E-Type'.
It features a distinctive fastback body designed by Giovanni Michelotti and is powered by a smooth 2.0-litre straight-six engine.

The MkIII addressed many of the criticisms of its predecessors, particularly the handling issues found in the MkI.
Unlike early swing-axle models, the MkIII utilised a revised rear suspension (rotoflex coupling followed by a simpler swing-spring setup in late 1973) for more predictable cornering.
The front and rear were restyled to match the Spitfire MkIV, featuring a 'cut-off' Kamm tail for better aerodynamics.
