The 1974 Porsche 911 S 2.7 marked a significant shift in the 911's evolution, introducing the 'G-Series' body style with prominent impact bumpers to meet US safety regulations.


It served as the mid-range offering between the base 911 and the high-performance Carrera.


It boasted the 2.7-litre air-cooled flat-six with Bosch K-Jetronic (CIS) fuel injection.
