1964 Jaguar Mk2 3.4 (Manual)

Vehicle Details
AI Listing Summary
This 1964 MK2 Jaguar 3.4 is a well-maintained classic with significant documented expenditure, including a recent clutch, alternator, power steering, and full stainless steel exhaust. While it boasts a solid mechanical foundation and presents well externally with good paint coverage and clean engine bay, some minor cosmetic flaws like paint bubbling and interior wear are present, suggesting it's a great driver-quality car needing minor attention rather than a concours restoration.
Condition
7
The car is in Very Good condition overall. It has some minor cosmetic issues such as paint cracks and bubbling on the front wings and a spot on the door, and mild perishing around the windscreen seals. The chrome on the bumpers shows light pitting. The interior leather seats show age-related wear, particularly the driver's seat, but are free of rips. The mechanicals appear solid with recent work done, and it drives well. Some areas would benefit from underseal application. Requires minor reconditioning.

Description
The MK2 Jaguar has an enviable reputation amongst the heroes of the sporting saloon.
It comes with 15” wire wheels which were fitted in 2019, there are no notable issues with their condition and all are very presentable with tight spokes.
The car is fitted with Blockley specialist vintage tyres - they were fitted at the same time as the wheels and have plenty of tread on them.
Externally the car sits well, with no signs of panel damage and the doors open and close with ease, with no sagging noted.
The offside rear wheel spat is slightly proud, but otherwise, the panel fit and shut lines are even.
As you'll see from the images and videos, the underside looks solid with just the front chassis legs showing some signs of age but appear to be solid too.
There are a few areas that would benefit from underseal being applied again.
The engine bay and boot floor are pleasingly clean.
