AI Listing Summary
This 1953 Lagonda 2.6 DHC is a rare classic that has undergone a comprehensive restoration, including a recent engine rebuild by Aston Martin specialists. While mechanically excellent and aesthetically striking, it does have a few minor cosmetic imperfections on the bodywork and steering wheel that prevent it from being in pristine condition.

Condition
7
The car is described as being in excellent dynamic, mechanical, and aesthetic condition. However, there are several noted cosmetic blemishes including scratches on the bonnet and around the grille, cracked paint on the front wing, chips on the doors, and bubbling/a small dent on the rear and front wings respectively. The steering wheel also has patches of missing paint and surface rust. Despite these, the interior leather is described as supple and inviting with only light creasing, though there are some blue stains on the driver's seat. The mechanicals appear sound, and the engine was rebuilt in 2015.

The engine was rebuilt by Aston Martin specialists Headshops of Warrington in 2015 and has covered fewer than 2,000 miles since.
An alternator conversion was fitted during the electrical rewire.
The Lagonda has been kept safe, warm and dry as part of a collection since 2021, when the vendor bought it.
Over the years it has won hearts, minds and admiring glances at numerous events and shows, including the Tatton Park Classic Car Show and the Lagonda Club AGM at the...
