For a short video of the vehicle running click here This car is an original RHD Rallye 1.3 HF in it’s original colours and trim.
The car has not been restored but has been well maintained and was prepared for rallying by Richard Thorne in 2000.
It was fitted with a roll -cage, extinguisher and other rally components to meet HSCC requirements.
A rebuild of the engine was done in 2007 by DTR Sports cars in Mortlake, near Croydon and at the same time the 35mm Solex carbs were replaced with a 32mm Dellorto carbs as the old ones were unserviceable.
The car has a steel chassis with aluminium doors, bonnet and boot.
It has the original Perspex rear screen and quarter panels.
All the panels are original and correct and the engine, although it has had some fettling, remains at 1300cc.
The power core range of the engine is 3000 – 5000rpm.
