AI Listing Summary
This 1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce is a rare, right-hand drive, South African example with a rich history of HSCC racing and classic road rallies. It features a rebuilt engine and gearbox, along with competition modifications, but also includes original parts for potential reversion to a road car specification.
Condition
6
While the car has been well-maintained with over £60,000 invested in race prep and recent servicing, its competition use and modifications such as a full cage and OMP seats indicate that it is not in pristine or near-perfect condition. However, the softened competition settings and recent engine and gearbox rebuild suggest that it is in good mechanical condition.

It was initially pressed into use as a sporting road car before, eventually, competition use beckoned, at which time it was upgraded and converted to race specification by Gran Turismo Engineering for use in HSCC events, in which it became very well-known, successful and extremely competitive.
