Description
1970 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV A rare UK right hand drive car that has undergone substantial work in attractive Rosso red.
The GTV is one of Alfa Romeo’s best-loved and most iconic designs, an elegant sporting grand tourer.
Powered by the twin Weber-carburetted 1.8-litre naturally aspirated twin-cam inline-four, delivering 120bhp to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox.
The vendor purchased the Alfa as a project in 2015 when it had been off the road since 2003.
It was apparently in a bit of a sorry state.
Since then substantial work has been undertaken to get the car in to it’s current condition.
This has included: new brake master cylinder and all four brake calipers; new brake discs; 2 brake servos reconditioned; suspension rebuilt with new uprated bushes, 4 x new Koni Classic adjustable shock absorbers, 4 x new Eibach springs 40mm lower; new wheel bearings; new coolant hoses; radiator recored; new clutch master and slave cylinders; new fuel tank sender; carburettor se...
