Vehicle Details
AI Listing Summary
This 1978 Lotus Esprit is a rare 'JPS Commemorative' show car, one of only two used by Lotus for promotion. It boasts significant provenance, including a Lotus 'Certificate of Vehicle Provenance' and confirmation from Lotus Cars, and has been maintained by respected Lotus specialists. The car's unique history and documentation make it a desirable piece for collectors.

While the listing emphasizes the car's historical significance and recent care, it also mentions a history file with 'ups and downs' and numerous owners. The car's description does not explicitly state that it is in pristine or near-perfect condition. The presence of a detailed history file suggests that the car has likely undergone some degree of wear and tear over its lifespan, which would preclude a rating higher than Very Good.
