AI Listing Summary
This 1978 Lotus Esprit S2 'JPS Edition' is a rare find, being the 21st of only 100 cars produced to celebrate Lotus's Formula 1 Constructors' Championship win. With just 13,809 miles and finished in the iconic black and gold JPS livery, it's an astonishingly original example. The car has been meticulously maintained, with a recent repaint of the headlight covers and comes with a comprehensive history file, original books, and spare parts, making it a true collector's item.
Condition
9
The car has extremely low mileage and is astonishingly original. The bodywork is described as pin-sharp and the interior as almost as fresh as the day it was fitted. Although there was a small engine fire early in its life, it was comprehensively repaired and there is no visible evidence of the incident today. The presence of original books, workshop manuals, and spare parts further enhance its condition.
