20042 French registration Tour Auto eligible The Matra-Bonnet Djet VS was presented at the 1964 Paris Motor Show, marking an important step in its evolution.

This model was distinguished by aesthetic improvements and was equipped with the Renault Gordini 1108 cm³ engine, developing 90 SAE horsepower.

The Djet VS features redesigned bodywork, including an enlarged rectangular front air intake, and a larger luggage compartment thanks to a 40 cm extension of the rear overhang.

The rear wheel arches have also been enlarged, and the tailgate now opens from rear to front, reversing the traditional opening direction.

The vertical rear bumpers have been replaced by a horizontal bumper.

What's more, the Djet VS is distinguished by its slim lines, enabling it to achieve an excellent drag coefficient (Cx) of 0.28 as early as 1965.
