Supplied new to Mr D.

Tierney by Harry James and Son, Liverpool on 16 th November 1981.

‘Loads better’ as the original sales brochure boasts for the all-new Maxi 2 in 1980, it goes on to say ‘The handsome, rugged Maxi, firmly established as Britian’s ideal family car.

Business, pleasure, holidays, shopping, It takes them all in its long legged, economical stride’.

This example is presented in Emberglow with contrasting and largely unmarked Beige Marle fabric upholstery and had only a mere 2 former keepers and covered a modest 50,000 miles which appears to match up with the overall condition of the car.

Powered by the British Leyland 'E' Series 1748cc overhead camshaft engine fitted with a single SU HS6 carburettor producing 72bhp at 4900rpm, the mechanics are simple and cost effective to run and maintain.

A fabulous chance to acquire this lesser spotted Maxi 2 for plenty of fun and affordable 80’s family motoring.
