The vendor bought this Austin Maxi as a project in our April sale.
In his words, “I have spent a lot of money on it in a short time and had all the welding done, so the car is now solid, and it runs and drives well.” We previously sold it on behalf of a film company which had been its keeper since 2016, using it as a taxi on the set of Netflix shows including The Crown and Rise of the Foot Soldier .
The blue and silver two-tone paintwork is complemented by a green interior which is mostly well preserved, including a period Motorola radio, and the odometer is showing 68,303 miles.
