The Austin-Healey 3000 is widely regarded as one of the definitive British sports cars of the 1960s, combining elegant styling with strong performance and robust engineering.

Evolving from the original four-cylinder 100/4 and the later six-cylinder 100/6, the 3000 introduced the more powerful 2,912cc straight-six engine and disc brakes to the front, transforming the model into a genuine grand tourer with competition pedigree.

Produced from 1959 to 1967, the 3000 enjoyed considerable success in international rallying and endurance events, earning a reputation for speed, reliability and balance.

The later BJ7 variant marked a significant step forward in comfort and refinement, featuring a curved windscreen, wind-up windows and an improved folding hood while retaining the classic Healey character and driving feel.

Offered here is a 1962 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ7 finished in striking jet black over red with red leather seats and matching carpets, a truly classic combination.
