Description
1969 LAND ROVER 109 SERIES IIA 109" - 4 CYL 2 1/4 petrol LWB Station Wagon This is a particularly impressive example of the classic Land Rover, presented in long-wheelbase station wagon configuration and finished with an off-white hard top featuring sliding side windows. More importantly, CFM 13G benefits from having had major, expensive and labour-intensive work already carried out.
At the heart of the restoration is a replacement galvanised chassis and replacement bulkhead, together with a replacement rear crossmember.
These are amongst the most significant areas to address when restoring an older Land Rover, and their completion represents a substantial investment in both the vehicle’s structure and its long-term usability. The work continues with parabolic springs, new shock absorbers, tyres and replacement tub floor braces, while a replacement 2.25-litre petrol engine has been installed.
Further improvements include a towing pack, side steps, rear chequer plate and a new grille...
