Description Safari roof; diesel engine; rear bench seats; use-and-improve condition First registered in December 1966, this S2a 109” sadly comes with no real history so we can’t tell you much about it.

Currently fitted with a 2,286cc diesel engine, the chassis number indicates that it would have originally had a petrol engine, production records showing that it was a Home Market model supplied new via Henlys of London finished in Bronze Green.

The ‘C’ suffix indicates that it featured several mechanical updates, including improvements to the cooling system and the gearbox, which were introduced in late 1965.

Being a 1966 model, it still has the ‘central headlight’ style before they were moved to the wings in late-1968.

Fitted with a Safari roof and rear bench seats, HPI records that it was colour-changed from Brown/Cream to Green in late 2012.

Our vendor bought the Land Rover as a gift for his father in November 2017, the plan being to restore it and take it to shows.
