Description

• Very well-presented older restoration• Manual with overdrive and power steering

Introduced in May 1957, the XK150 was the final evolution of Jaguar’s celebrated XK sportscar family.

Following the XK120 and XK140, it brought a more mature approach to the formula that had established Jaguar as a leading manufacturer of sporting road cars.

Fuller bodywork, a broader grille and a single-piece curved windscreen gave the model a distinctive appearance, while retaining the sweeping wings and long bonnet that characterised its predecessors.

Initially available as a Fixedhead or Drophead Coupé, the range was subsequently expanded with an Open Two-Seater. Jaguar’s renowned twin-cam straight-six remained at the heart of the XK150, complemented by four-wheel disc brakes, a significant development drawing upon the marque’s competition experience.

The combination of performance, improved braking and greater refinement made the XK150 particularly suited to longer journeys.
