Manufactured in 1972, this wonderful 4.7 litre Maserati Indy is fitted with the optional automatic gearbox and is an original right hand drive example.

Previously restored by its current owner between 2008 and 2018, this Indy was treated to huge amounts of work to the body including cutting out and completely replacing the inner and outer sills, as to the front floor sections.

There were also repairs to the A posts and lower sections of the door skins.

Some minor welding was also required to the front of the bonnet amongst other areas.

A bare metal respray followed and the Maserati was finished in its original colour combination of red coachwork with a tan interior.

Delving back further into the car’s history it reveals an engine and gearbox rebuild was completed in the early 1990’s (circa 6,000 miles ago).

Our vendor has maintained the car where necessary having the underside treated with a light covering of underseal to prevent any rusting, also replaced was the sound deadening...
