EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES The Renault 5 Gordini, which was sold as the Alpine in mainland Europe, featured a tuned version of the standard Renault 5’s engine utilising a crossflow head with hemispherical combustion chambers, close to doubling the standard car’s power output.
Building upon this, the Turbo model also featured a Weber 32 DIR 75 carburettor and a Garrett T3 turbocharger, which further increased power to 110bhp and torque to 108.5lb-ft.
