KEY FACTS This Renault 5 Gordini Turbo is a restored example of the iconic ‘80s hot hatch, which has benefitted from various replacement panels and a glass-out repaint.
It is powered by a 1.4-litre inline-four with a Garrett T3 turbocharger, which sends power to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.
This R5 was first registered in April 1983, and was acquired by the seller in December 2024.
The car was restored over a period of 14 years by a previous owner, which was finished in 2021.
The odometer shows 89,110 miles, however this is not warranted.
In 2021 the car was tested on a rolling road by Peter Burgess of Automotive Performance Engineering in Derbyshire, and the engine is noted to have produced 104hp.
