KEY FACTS This E30-era BMW M3 Evo I is an engaging analogue performance car, understood to be number 69 of just 505 examples built.

It is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.3-litre ‘S14’ inline-four, delivering 200PS to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.

This M3 was originally delivered to Spain before being exported to Austria, where it is now offered for sale.

The odometer shows 91,630 kilometres.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES Just 505 examples of the Evo I were built between March and May 1987 to homologate the E30-era M3 for competition racing.

The S14 engine featured a revised cylinder head with an ‘E’ cast into it and, whilst peak power output remained unchanged, they are said to produce a little more power at the top end at the expense of some torque.
