This is a delightful 1938 Austin Seven Opal Two Seater Tourer Convertible, which was restored in 2010 and 2011 to close to Concours Standard.

The vendor states this rare two-seater convertible looks superb, as can be seen in the photos.

The car was registered on 24th September 1938, and comes with a V5 registration document.

The vendors research shows that the car is one of only 63 known survivors of the 700 Opal Two Seater Tourer that were built, and still retains its original registration number FHT 768.

It was totally rebuilt and restored during 2010 and 2011 by members of the Cornwall Austin Seven Club to a superb standard that is close to Concours.

The history file contains some photographs showing the restoration along with an original old Logbook and old MOT certificates.

The Austin Seven is well supported by numerous owner’s clubs who can be relied upon to help keep these wonderful historic cars on the road.
