This pretty Austin 7 Opal two-seater tourer has come from a deceased estate, where it had been in long-term ownership.

We're told that it was previously restored to a very high standard including engine rebuild, and the Austin runs and drives as it should and starts immediately on request.

The car was registered in June 1937 and has four registered keepers overall showing on its V5C.

It is now MoT-exempt as an historic vehicle; there's no record of it having had one as far back 2005 when online MoT records began.

Paperwork with the Austin includes the V5C, some technical information, some photos, photocopies of original spare parts catalogues and the owner's handbook.

There's also a stack of invoices.
