Chassis Number: CC 26715 L An attractively specified and early TR6, around the 1,700th made, originally supplied to the US and restored in Canada before arriving in the UK in 2013.
The TR6 was launched in 1969 and most notably featured a Karmann designed facelift of the Michelotti designed TR4/5 body.
The front and rear areas were re-designed to be more squared off to keep in line with evolving trends and the 2.5l straight six introduced on the TR5 was carried over.
US market cars were fitted with twin Stromberg carburettors only whilst European market cars had the option of Lucas fuel injection.
The model proved to be a huge success with around 92,000 produced up to 1976.
Of this number, 80% were sold to the US.
