Afin de réduire les coûts de transformation, Heuliez prend pour base la version 4 portes dont la carrosserie est renforcée.
La capote peut s'ouvrir simplement au dessus des sieges avant, ou intégralement: la filiation avec la 2cv est avérée.
Néanmoins, le succès commercial n'est pas au rendez-vous, seuls 2633 exemplaires seront produits, dont 1753 pour l'année 1983 - la plus recherchée car disposant encore des commandes de tableau de bord satellite.
