Citroën Visa 1000 Pistes – 1984

The Visa 1000 Pistes corresponds to Citroën's trial and error approach to rallying in the early 1980s.

The initial idea came from Guy Verrier, a former rally driver who became director of Citroën Compétitions.

This version appeared with the birth of Group B.

The 1.4 litre 112 hp engine remained at the front, but the car adopted all-wheel drive.

For homologation purposes, 200 examples were produced.
The example presented here has a very interesting history, as it was offered by the brand to one of its dealers in Haute-Savoie.

It was intended to be a demonstration vehicle, but ended up staying in the showroom for 30 years, rarely being driven.
According to the brand's archives, this was the 150th of the 200 cars built.

It was sold for the first time to an enthusiast in 2016 when the odometer showed just 935 km.
