Elle a commencé sa vie sous la forme d'un coach D6-60 et, au milieu des années 1940, elle appartenait aux automobiles Delahaye.
Le 6 avril 1949, le constructeur adressait un courrier à l'Association Française des Coureurs en Automobiles, dans lequel il proposait de mettre à sa disposition la Delage jusqu'à fin octobre.
