Founded in 1905, Delage exhibited its first two models at the Grand Palais Motor Show, where they were an instant success.
By 1906, Delage was making a name for itself in the Grand Prix des Voiturettes and even won the Indianapolis 500 in 1914.
Delage produced innovative engines, beautiful racing chassis, and luxury leather-upholstered bodies and interiors for an
elegant clientele.

The 1920s were a prosperous period for the brand, which consolidated its image and technical developments through competition.
In the 1930s, despite the economic crisis, Louis Delage persisted in producing luxury cars.

Driving a Delage was then a privilege reserved for people of taste, but above all for the wealthy.

The consequences of the economic crisis ultimately did not spare Delage, which went bankrupt in 1935.
