A complete chassis purchased in Gironde by Mr E. at the end of the 1990s, restored and bodied in England in the style of a tourer; work carried out with no cost limit, for more than €150,000... “Fast and silent, it passes, it’s a Delage”: the brand’s slogan could perfectly define the car that illustrates these pages. The Delage D6, shown here in long form (D6L with a wheelbase of 3.249 m), was one of the finest French cars on the market in 1930, powered by a superb 3-litre in-line 6-cylinder engine delivering 75 hp.

The superb bodywork which today equips chassis #33894 was created in 1999 by the famous English restorer Boyle, based on a personal drawing approved by M.
