Lola Cars, founded by Eric Broadley in 1958, quickly became a force in racing. They built successful sports cars, Formula cars, and Indy cars.
One lesser-known story involves the Lola T70. While known for its success, few recall that John Surtees drove a Lola T70 MkII to victory in the inaugural Can-Am race at Mosport in 1966. This win helped cement Lola's reputation in North American racing.
