Fordson tractors emerged from Henry Ford's vision to mechanize agriculture.
Established in 1917, production ramped up during World War I to support British farming.
The Fordson became a dominant force, affordable and reliable.
Interestingly, Henry Ford initially wanted to call the tractor "Ford," but a dispute with shareholders led to the name "Fordson." The name stuck, becoming synonymous with affordable tractors.
