AI Listing Summary

This rare, right-hand drive 1965 Sunbeam Tiger MK1, finished in Midnight Blue, has undergone an undocumented restoration and received over £7,000 in investment since 2020, including an interior refurbishment. Despite the investment, the car's 25-year-old tires are a significant safety concern requiring immediate replacement, and the paint exhibits minor age-related blemishes.

The car presents well overall with solid underpinnings and bodywork. The paint has a pleasing lustre but shows minor signs of age like spidering and orange peel. The interior has been refurbished and is in good shape, though the dashboard veneer shows mild signs of age. Mechanically, the V8 engine runs well, but the car did show a high temperature reading during a test drive, which was resolved after topping up coolant. The tyres are over 25 years old, a significant safety concern that will require replacement.

Designed in part by American automotive legend Carroll Shelby, the Sunbeam Tiger saw a total production of around 7,100 units, with just 3,763 MK1 cars known to have been produced.
