Originally launched in 2006, the first generation R8 is powered by the same 4.2L V8 as found in the B7 RS4, producing ~424BHP.

It is mated to a 6-speed gated manual gearbox and drives all four wheels with Audi's legendary Quattro system.

The R8 design was well received, it even made a cameo in the Iron Man films soon after launch.

This particular car is one of only 100 made to celebrate the 10th victory for Audi at the Le Mans 24 Hour race in 2011.

The Le Mans Edition received a raft of extras including red brake callipers, illuminated door sills, red accents and stitching on the Nappa leather and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.

This car also features the "Carbon Package", with carbon the mirrors, side blades and engine bay.
