This iconic British 2-door sports tourer was designed in the forties and first seen in 1948.

This example was one of the last made in 1952 and spent most of her life overseas and came back to this country in 2013.

Sadly, there is no history retained when she was abroad.

These cars were unique, having a body manufactured by Jensen and made out of aluminium mounted on an Austin chassis.

Technical Spec: 1259 cc’s 4 cy ohv breathing through twin carbs producing 50 bhp giving a top speed of 80 mph with brisk acceleration for its time.

She is a proper 4-seater tourer, recent work carried out was fitting 5 brand new tyres and an invoice for £180 for the overhauling and rebuilding the twin carbs.

It also has a BMIHT Certificate showing she was built on the 1st of February 1952.

Auctioneers Notes: This car is no means in concourse condition but she is very usable, tidy inside, very good hood, clean under the bonnet and being alloy – no rust.
