AI Listing Summary

This listing is for a quirky and iconic 2-stroke German car, humorously dubbed 'The World's Worst Car' but loved by many. It's a low-kilometer Kombi estate that was driven from Germany to County Cork after the fall of the Wall, recently recommissioned and reported to be in good working order. EU registered, all EU VAT and duties paid. NOVA supplied.

Condition

6

The car is described as being in tidier condition than most on the market, having been recommissioned with rebuilt starter motor, brake and suspension overhaul. It has been garaged and only taken out to local shows. However, it is also described as malodorous, noisy, and smoky, with a Duraplast body made from recycled materials, suggesting it is not in pristine condition.

Dubbed by many as “The World’s Worst Car”.

In our view this is most unfair to this iconic cult car.

After all nearly 3,000,000 Germans can’t be wrong (so popular it is reputed even Angela Merkel was unable to get her hands on one at the end of their production run!) The 2 stroke 2 cylinder motor fires up on the button and goes like the clappers or should that read ‘Glockenspeil’.

Also stops on a Pfennig and handles better than a bar of soap (a wet one anyway).

The Duraplast body made from recycled wool, cotton fibres and resin is indestructible and is non recyclable itself.

(won’t even burn) Bullet-proof mechanicals ensures these cars will last forever.

What other car engine has no camshafts, valves, distributor, fuel pump, cooling system, timing belt/chain etc etc.

Parts availability are excellent and are as cheap as chips.

(Smell like them too!) Best of all this malodorous, noisy, smoky car gives two fingers up to the tree huggers.

Why not throw some old cookin...
