Offered here is a 1983 Trabant 601, offered in largely original specification however it does require mechanical recommissioning.
The car does run and drive, but there appears to be a slight fuelling issue, therefore the carburettors will require attention.
Produced from 1964 until 1994 as a car for the people with over 2 million produced, making it the most successful East German car.
Built using Duroplast, a fibre-enforced resin similar to Fibreglass, and up until the end of 1990 used a 2 cylinder, 2 stroke engine (it was later replaced with a 4 cylinder, 4 stroke engine from VW).
A quirky and interesting garage find that will require some minor recommissioning to get back on the road.
