Replacing the Aurelia in 1957, the Flaminia became Lancia’s new flagship model, and was available as a convertible, coupé, or saloon, with bodies courtesy of Pinin Farina, Touring, and Zagato.

The Zagato Sport was a coupé version of the Flaminia and featured an aluminium body.

Just 344 examples were built by the carrozzeria, representing a tiny fraction of the 12,633 Flaminias sold.

This example was manufactured on 29 May 1962 and assigned to Zagato to be bodied as a Sport.

It was painted in Argento Auteuil over a Pelle Rossa upholstery and was equipped with a 138-horsepower 2.5-litre V-6 engine.

Delivered new to France, it was first registered on 8 June 1962.

The car changed hands in 1969, and was acquired by the third owner, who retained the car for nearly four decades, in February 1977.

After being purchased by the consignor in 2014, the Lancia underwent a complete restoration.
