Arguably one of Aston Martin’s most polarising designs, the V8 Vantage Zagato brought Aston Martin and Zagato together yet again, pushing the design language of both companies forward into the future.

Looking to extract as much performance as possible from this new car, the chassis was shortened, the rear seats were removed, and any trim and gadgets deemed unnecessary were excised.

Critically, the bodywork was made of aluminum, leading the V8 Vantage Zagato to weigh in at some 10 per cent lighter than standard V8 Vantage on which it was based.

Chassis number 20053 is one of just 14 left-hand-drive examples fitted with the manual transmission.

Its fetching colour scheme, Javelin Grey over a black leather interior, cleverly accentuates its design, giving it a subtle yet muscular appearance.

In November of 2018, the car was recommissioned by its previous owner to ensure it was running smoothly.
