Following the introduction of the V8 Zagato Coup, the open Volante made its debut in 1987, combining dramatic Italian styling with the character and performance of Aston Martin s celebrated V8.Although an initial production run of 25 cars was envisaged, only 37 Zagato Volantes had been completed by the time production ceased in 1990.This exceptional right-hand-drive example, chassis SCFCV81Z2KTR30043, was completed for the 1989 model year and first registered in 1990 as G909 CPL.
