Overview When BMW unveiled the latest incarnation of its seminal M3 Touring model in 2020, the G81, the engineers in Bavaria thought – and rightly so we might add – that 473bhp was sufficient for the “base” model.
For those looking for a little extra grunt, however, there was the Competition variant, and with 503bhp on tap, performance was nothing short of face-melting.
An eight-speed Steptronic automatic manual gearbox with its own oil cooler was also fitted, alongside various styling tweaks.
It's a fantastic car, both in terms of outright power and speed as well as the usual build quality and practicalities that a BMW estate brings.
