One of only 20 built This car is an exceptional rarity, as it is one of only 20 Porsche 911 Carrera 2.7 Targa models developing 210 hp, specially built in 1976 for the Belgian Gendarmerie.
After using 911E Coupes, the police wanted an open car to enable them to communicate better with the drivers they intercepted.
At this time, when the Carrera 2.7 was about to give way to the Carrera 3.0, Porsche offered the Belgian government a small series of Targas.
The entire 1976 production run of 20 Carrera 2.7 Targas was reserved for the Belgian police.
Like all 911s produced in this year, these examples benefit from factory anti-corrosion protection, making them the only Carrera 2.7 Targa to be treated against original corrosion.
