Presented at the Paris Motor Show in October 1928, the Citroën C4 - initially designated AC4 for "André Citroën 4" - was developed to replace the B14, whose international sales were declining.

The model adopted features similar to those seen on certain American vehicles of the same period: larger size, greater comfort and a more powerful engine.
The example shown here is a Torpédo Commercial produced in 1930.

The vehicle was restored in 2010, including a complete mechanical and body overhaul.
It then entered the Pottier collection, before being acquired by its current owner in 2024, when the collection was sold.

Since then, it has been restored (without invoice), and the seller came by road.
This Citroën C4 Torpédo Commercial is a typical example of Citroën's interwar production, ideal for a start in the world of pre-war cars.
