The very first Jaguar to have seen the light of day, the SS100 was produced by a company named SSCars LTD.

which was founded in 1935.




Resolutely sporty, this first car will be built in only 300 copies making the original model a real rarity.




The company changed its name after the Second World War and designed the XK series from 1948 onwards.




The SS100 is therefore the forgotten little car of the feline manufacturer which is now alive again thanks to the different replicas made by enthusiasts since the 1960s.







Our example of the day is based on a 1979 Ford Consul chassis with a 2.8L V6 engine, one of the most robust of the group.




A 5 speed manual gearbox has been installed for more comfort.




Very close to a real SS100 aesthetically, our example turns as many heads as the original.
