The vendor is a retired engineer and he built this car over 2016/17 from parts supplied by Suffolk Sports Cars as a project.

The body is an exact moulded copy of an original 1938 SS100 with a steel internal frame, making it very strong.

The bonnet is aluminium, replicating the original with all 200 louvres.

A large number of parts are identical to the originals and will fit original cars.

All parts are either new or reconditioned.

The wooden flooring has been epoxy coated for durability, and doubling pieces added as appropriate.

Stainless fastenings have been used.

All wood mounted with rubber strip gasket on the chassis rails.

The Jaguar XJ6 engine was reconditioned by Ivor Searle Ltd, and the flywheel was lightened.

The engine has a stainless steel exhaust manifold together with the rest of the exhaust system.

Carburettors are reconditioned 2 inch SU, and electronic ignition is by a Powerspark distributor.
