This Buick Super Eight Phaeton Convertible was delivered new in India to His Highness, Maharajah Sahib Nabah.
The current owner acquired it in 1989 and imported it to France.
After having drive his car for more than twenty years, he decided to make it undergo a partial restoration in the workshops of Still Racing, in Toulouse, led by Eric Helary, famous racing driver who notably won the 1993 24 Hours of Le Mans on Peugeot 905.
Thus, the Buick will receive a complete restoration of the chassis, including a replacement of all the silent-blocks, hoses, brake parts, shock absorbers, ball joints, tires ...
The engine received a new water pump , new carburetors, a new ignition harness, as well as a new fuel system and filters.
The clutch was replaced two years ago.
The painting was only renovated, because, although old, it still looked very good.
